My Week on Wednesday… August 20

My Week on Wednesday -- Join me each week to find out what I've learned, what I've been doing, and read up on the different blogs I've been visiting! ~ Christine @ Once Upon a Time in a Bed of Wildflowers

Hello and welcome to another My Week on Wednesday where I take a few moments to share what I’ve been doing over the week. I share some of the blogs I’ve visited, and some of the things that I have learned.

The Harvest Season is in full swing and my pantry and freezer are filling up!

I’ve canned plenty of jam, as well as a pile of tomatoes. And I’ve frozen plenty of peppers, corn, and beans–including some of my very own grown-in-my-garden purple beans. I’ve never grown enough of anything for preserve it (except for mint!) so I’m kind of giddy about this.

I do think it’s sort of sad that purple beans turn green when you cook them, though!

So…

And that brings us to the Quote of the Week. Approximately daily, I post quotes on my Facebook Page. The quote with the most likes, shares, and comments will become the Quote of the Week.

As it so happens, this week “approximately daily” means I never got around to it. Not even once. I am sorry. But I won’t leave you without a Quote of the Week. This one was a runner up from a couple of weeks ago… and it is one of my favorites:
