This post really spoke to me because, though I learned to crochet years ago, all I could ever do was rectangles. Not squares, and certainly not grannie squares. Rectangles. Which meant if you wanted a scarf or an afghan, I was your girl. If you wanted pretty much anything else… you were out of luck.
Well, just a couple of weeks ago, I sat down and learned how to make a grannie square. And… um… I’m hooked! 🙂
