Do you ever have those “duh” moments when you realize that you have been making things FAR more complicated than they need to be? Yup. I’m having one of those moments now. 🙂
This time of year, apples are plentiful and cheap… the same is not necessarily true at Thanksgiving or the winter holidays which, at least in my family, cannot even be contemplated without apple pie. Or chilly March evenings when a warm apple pie is exactly what you want. I’ve thought about canning apple pie filling, but this will be SO much easier! I don’t know why I’ve never thought to do it before… and I am so glad that Graceful Little Honey Bee did, because this is brilliant! 🙂
