A couple of years ago, I created one of my favorite dishes ever: Sweet & Savory Sweet Potato Stew. As it turns out, the combination of sweet potatoes, apples, cranberries balances beautifully with savory sage.
This recipe takes that flavor combination and… well… stuffs it in a chicken. This recipe quickly became another family favorite. It’s fancy enough for guests, easy enough for a weeknight, and with sweet potatoes, apples, and dried fruit, makes a perfect late fall or winter dinner.
