Hello! Happy Friday and happy From the Farm Blog Hop day! Wow! Can you guys believe that it July already? Are you enjoying your summer?
We have been, without really too much planning, been having an excellent summer… the beach almost every day, we toured a replica of a Spanish Galleon, and visited an original urban homestead. Sure, it was the George Eastman House (the founder of Kodak, in case you’re not up on my local history!) and on a significantly grander scale than. you know, anything that I can come up with. But, he did have four dairy cows, a poultry house, and enough greenhouses and gardens to feed his entire household–which included some thirty to fifty people, most of which were the servants who were actually doing the gardening, but still… 😉
Oh, and a baseball game. But that wasn’t my fault; we have company in town! But as far as baseball goes, it was a great game to be at… the home team won a tied game in “overtime.” The bases were loaded and there was a home run. (I know nothing about baseball, okay? Talk to me about Quidditch.)
Anyway… it’s time for another round of From The Farm where we love to see your ideas on how to garden, homestead, or any DIY tips and tricks. Last Week’s Top 3 Favorites, as chosen by YOU:
